Hi Community, how are you feeling? Today, has been a difficult day for many of us, myself included as I figure out how to prepare for the eventual lock down of NYC in response to the Coronavirsus. I’m not sure how our life will change over the next couple of weeks, and there are still so many unknowns about how to prevent this virus. However, one thing is for sure, that your health should be your first priority. We will continue our #28dayMovitachallenge, albeit modified, because physical movement is so key to a healthy body and mind. We, at Movita also want to remind you of some simple things that you can do to be proactive about your health.
✓ Build up your immune system with a daily Multivitamin
✓ Drink lots of liquids and a diet rich in vitamin C
✓ Wash your hands thoroughly and consistently throughout the day
✓ Clean and disinfect commonly used surfaces, including your cell phone
✓ Avoid close contact with strangers
✓ If you are feeling unwell, stay home and call your doctor
✓ Stay calm & work out!
Challenge: Today, do whatever you need to do to check in with yourself and make sure you are ok. If you can take a walk outside, or do some simple stretching at home that is recommended to relieve stress and keep your body moving through these uncertain times.
