Challenge Day 6
Today I did a kick ass athletic conditioning class…OMG. I thought I was going to throw up on the studio floor. All I want to do is sleep today. And in fact, if I can, maybe I’ll get a nap in…nothing wrong with a nap on a Saturday if I can, if my body wants it…but I’m also going to get a massage. What I realize is that if I’m going to stick to working out everyday and not get hurt, I have to take care of my body like athletes do. No one is paying me millions of dollars, but it’s worth it to spend a little to rub out the muscles. I know some people roll with a foam roller, somehow I don’t think I do it right…Either way, I need to massage out these muscles and stretch. I’m also going to look for a sauna and cold plunge to help heal my achy muscles.
Challenge: It’s the weekend, but your healthy regiment does not need a break. I’m challenging you to a 25 minute workout today – you decide what you do and how, but make sure your body is moving and that you sweat!
