Challenge Day 8
I can’t believe that a week has gone by. Back to a walk/run. I remember how much I used to like to run…but now, I’m doing a slight incline and I’m going to work my way up to sprint along the way. Always have to keep my body guessing. So today, I’m going to walk a minute run a minute starting at a slow jog of 5.0 on the treadmill and work my way to 6.0. Again, taking it easy so as not to hurt myself. My nagging hamstring is feeling better…I think the stretching, yoga and massage really makes a difference. Upper body workout today…three sets each of bicep, shoulder, tricep and chest press…I’m annoyed because I remember when I could lift heavier for longer, but I know this is a process…if I keep working I will get stronger. And just a note…I’m not weighing myself…I’m checking that roll on my back and looking at myself in the mirror honestly…I hate the scale, but I can look at my body and know whether I’m fit or not….and right now the answer with love is that I can do better…and I’d doing it!!!
Challenge: It’s a new week and another opportunity to take better care of yourself. This week we are doing a minimum of 20 minutes of workout every single day. So get your mind right, decide on how you want to sweat today, and make it happen!
