Today is Yoga day! I am new to Yoga so it is a bit intimidating, but I’m going to take it slowly and do what I can to learn the poses. Yoga seems like a good way to stretch my body and work different muscles all while centering myself and focusing on my breathing. I love that it’s a lower impact workout but that I still sweat. Here’s to another day of pushing myself to try new things and diversify my fitness routine.
Challenge: How can you actively move your body for 20 minutes today? A brisk walk around your neighborhood, a timed workout on the treadmill, elliptical or bike, a dance or yoga class or combining at home video workouts? Whatever you do, commit to moving for at least 20 minutes. There are days it feels harder than others to work out, but I promise once you do it and get those endorphins flowing, you’ll feel better that you did it!
